Established in 1937 as a trading concern by the
Late Mr. P.G. Mehta, SWASTIK was converted into a Private Limited Company in
1946. Manufacturing activities commenced in 1947. In 1958 the Engineering
Division started producing Textile Wet Processing Machines, under
license
from world renowned manufacturers like MEZZERA S.P.A. & COMERIO ERCOLE
S.P.A. of ITALY as well as other reputed European manufacturers. Now, with
almost 50 years of manufacturing
experience, SWASTIK is the pioneering manufacturer of Textile Processing
Machineries in India, producing processing machines worth Rs. 150 million
per annum. Our Managing Director Mr. S. P. Mehta had his training in late
1957/58 at COMERIO ERCOLE S.P.A. and M/s. MEZZERA S.P.A. for about one
year.
SWASTIK offers almost the complete Range of Textile Wet Processing &
Finishing Machines
from Scouring and Bleaching to Finishing and Folding with the latest fully
Automatic Control Instruments and for a variety of fabrics made of Natural
and Synthetic Fibers, including Cotton, Polyester, Wool, Viscose, Silk and
various type of fabrics like Wooven, Knitted, Terry,
Tubular Knitted Fabrics etc. - SWASTIK can also offer Wider Width Machines
and special purpose machines to suit any and all requirements.
With a team of qualified and experienced Engineers and Technocrats and
Computer Aided Designing facilities, SWASTIK now offers complete
processing plants on a "Turn-Key Basis",
including all Engineering
services. Manufacturing facilities are spread over an area of over 12000
sq. mts and equipped with a modern manufacturing plant, situated in the
city of Ahmedabad, which is a major Textile and Engineering Centre. The
SWASTIK Group employees about 250 people including Designing, Marketing
and Administrative staff. SWASTIK has been exporting their machines since
1970 in Asia, Africa and Eastern Europe.
Subsequently we have added a number of other machines in our manufacturing
programme, which include Loop Steamer, Open Width Scouring and Bleaching
Plant, Chainless Merceriser, Batch Merceriser, Continuous Pad-Steam Dyeing
plant, High speed Heat Setting Stenter,

Complete Range of Knit Fibre Processing machineries such as Over-Flow
Dyeing, Shrink Dryer, Balloon Padder, Compactor - etc.
Our Production programme includes Tube Dyeing Machines for Silk and
delicate yarns, with 2-4-6 Tubes. Cabinet Yarn Dyeing machines having
50-100-200-300 Kg. capacity.
Continuous Yarn Dryers for Hank Yarn, Hydro
Extractors, Over-Flow Dyeing machine specially designed, for Silk, Knitted
Fabrics and Terry Towel Fabrics (each model suitable for specific
fabrics), Loop Dryer, Conveyor Dryers, Shrink Dryers etc.
We have supplied our machines - particularly Washing Ranges - Scouring
