 Batch Merceriser –Jbm 2/5

This is a simple economical Batch Merceriser consisting or two
large diameter Rolls, both positively driven.
Fabric is fed through normal tension bars etc, and passes on to the Top
Batch Roll through a series of 5 press Rollers, three of which are
immersed in caustic lye.
A simple device is provided to maintain uniform speed and tension
throughout the batch .
Pneumatic pressure system is employed so that once the fabric comes in
contact with caustic, it is always held to the rollers till it is
unloaded.

Eco-Merceriser |
|
| Standard Merceriser, with Steel and Rubber Rollers, with Timing Roller in
– between to give extra time. This is a standard machine economically
designed and equipped with 2 squeezers, one after Impregnator, and one
after stabilizer. Washing compartment have light squeezers for the first
two compartments and one final heavy duty squeezer. All the washing
compartments are of open construction. |

Batch Merceriser |
|
| This is a Batch Merceriser, however it is a continuous one. Fabric is fed
from loose material or batches, and passes on to impregnating Rollers
before being squeezed and batched again. The drive is reversible and in
the second passage, one can spray hot water to reduce the caustic
carry-over. After this, the batch is taken to other machines for further
treatments. |
